Our story
From the paddy fields of Naogaon to your table
Nobanno began with one sack of kalijira from a farmer friend in Naogaon. Today we work with 60 farming families across North Bengal and Jessore — buying each harvest at a fair price and milling it slowly, the way it used to be done.

Where does your rice come from?
From farming families in Naogaon, Dinajpur and Jessore. We buy each harvest directly and mill it in small batches.
Is the rice polished or perfumed?
Never. Our rice is not polished and no perfume is added — the aroma is the rice's own.
Is your khejur gur pure?
Yes. It is made from date palm sap only — no sugar, no colour and no hydro. It is darker and less sweet than market gur.
Do you deliver outside Dhaka?
Yes, to all 64 districts. Inside Dhaka in 24 hours, outside Dhaka in 2–3 working days.
What is the delivery charge?
৳60 inside Dhaka and ৳120 outside Dhaka. Orders over ৳1,200 ship free.
Why does gur price change through the year?
Fresh khejur gur is made only in winter. Prices are lowest in December and January and rise after the season ends.
How should I store rice and gur?
Rice in an airtight jar in a dry place. Gur in a closed jar — in the fridge during summer.
Can I pay with bKash or Nagad?
Yes. Pay cash on delivery, or with bKash or Nagad at checkout.
